London: Country Life, 1949.  Second printing.

Inscribed by Cotton to Henry A. Hurst, adding that the book was "sent with the compliments of Clifford Roberts".

An interesting joining of three golf aficionados.  Cotton was the leading British player of his generation, winning the Open Championship (aka the British Open) three times and finishing in the top-10 on 17 occasions.  The European Tour Rookie of the Year award is named after him.

Clifford Roberts was the co-founder (along with Bobby Jones) of the Augusta National Golf Club, serving as its chairman from 1931 through 1976.  Two years after the foundation, Roberts and Jones started the Masters Tournament.

Henry A. Hurst was an Atlanta linen merchant and Augusta member.  In 1941, he sponsored a professional golf tournament which was won by Sam Snead, earning him $1,500 in prize money.

Internally fine and unmarked.  A very good copy with slanted spine and some bowing to the boards, uneven fading, curling to the corners and dust soiling to top text block.  Dust wrapper is fair to good rubbed with several chips and tears.
