A fine copy in similarly fine dust wrapper.  On the front flap of the wrapper is a bookseller label for Serendip Fine Books, Broad St. Lyme Regis. Serendip was founded by Chris Chapman, a close friend of John Fowles, and the shop's frontage featured in the 1981 Oscar-nominated film.
