Contains approximately 50 pages of Williams' poetry, accompanied by two prefaces (a frivolous and a serious version).  First book appearance of Williams as a poet.

A presentation copy, inscribed by Williams "To Mary with love", signed "Tennessee" and dated September, 1944.  An early, contemporary inscription.

A very good copy, boards a little dust soiled, corners with some bumping, spine slightly cocked.  Dust wrapper also very good, toned (more so to the spine), rubbing to edges of spine panel and along the flap folds, slight chipping to spine tips.
